by road, rail and air


Road
The City Centre is located off the A483 Fabian Way which leads to junction 42 of the M4 motorway. From here, London is just 3.5 hours away.
The national motorway network including the Midlands, South West and North are accessible from the M4.

Gower Explorer
Gower has its own quality bus network: take the Gower Explorer to get to Horton, Llangennith, Llanmadoc, Llanrhidian, Oxwich, Port Eynon, Reynoldston and Rhossili. Services to Mumbles, Oystermouth, Bishopston and Pennard are operated by First Cymru.Rail - An hourly rail service runs from Swansea to London Paddington with a journey time of 3 hours as well as regular services to other major business destinations.

Air
Cardiff International Airport is only 50 minutes away from Swansea City Centre by road or rail.Once in Swansea, motorists are well catered for with some 30 car parks within the city centre or nearby.

Park and Ride
The City Centre can also be accessed by Park and Ride. It's so much easier to use the Park and Ride facilities. It only costs £2 to park a car all day and up to 4 people can travel into Swansea and back. There are sites located at Landore, Fforestfach and Fabian Way, with both sites offering a range of facilities such as enclosed waiting areas with lavatories and baby-changing facilities. There are also refreshment machines and cycle racks. For disabled travellers, both sites have level walkways, a disabled lavatory and the buses are low floor, easy access with a designated area for a person in a wheelchair.

Both sites open at 06.45am and close a 19.30pm, with a bus every 15 minutes between 07.00am and 08.00am and a bus every 12 minutes between 08.00am and 19.00pm.

Mobility
Swansea's Shopmobility Centre, based in Unit 12 of the St David's Shopping Centre provides electric scooters, powered or manual wheelchairs for residents and visitors; regardless of age or whether a disability is temporary or permanent.
